Sumo SIV was the investment manager of the Sumo SIV Managed Fund, a complying Significant Investor Visa (SIV) fund, from 2013 to 2022.
 
The Sumo SIV Managed Fund was registered with the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC) in 2013.
 
Under the Australian Government’s SIV regulations, each SIV applicant is required to invest AUD$5 million into complying investments for a period of 4 years before becoming eligible to apply for a permanent residency visa under the SIV sub-category (888 visa). During the 4-year investment period, the applicant and his family members each hold a provisional 188C visa.
 
Sumo SIV, through the Sumo SIV Managed Fund, is proud to have been able to assist many families settle in Australia over the years under the SIV program and until this day, continues to assist some of them with their affairs in Australia. However, the SIV is no longer offered by the Australian Government as a pathway to permanent residency in Australia.

Sumo SIV holds an Australian Financial Services Licence (AFSL 494009) which authorises it to carry on a financial services business to provide financial product advice (or deal in a financial product) to wholesale clients for deposit and payment products, debentures, stocks or bonds issued or proposed to be issued by a government, interests in managed investment schemes including investor directed portfolio services, and securities.
